Summary Statement: New Careers is currently seeking a Field Service Engineering professional this position will be based out of Pittsburgh, PA.
Education: Associate's degree (A.A.) or technical school equcation.
Experience: Min 4 years RF background related experience. Must be a Self starter with good verbal and written communication skills Proficient computer skills are required. Some travel required.

Job Title: RF System Technician
Billet No: 2002-001 AH
Reports To:
Location: Various-Nationwide
Summary Statement: Construct, repair, test and modify two-way radio and digital microwave systems.
Education: Technical School degree, equivalent field experience, or apprenticeship required.
Experience: Minimum of two 2 year's related experience.
Physical and/or Other Requirements: Knowledge of: Basic RF Circuits Modulation techniques Power supplies Microwave Systems Fusing and circuit breakers Soldering and wiring skills Oscilloscopes RF signal generators Spectrum analyzers Knowledge of network analyzers is desired. Experience with large-scale FR systems strongly desired. Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and Access, as well as Windows XP/2000298295 operating systems. Exceptional organizational skills and proactive attitude. Must be hands-on and able to work in a deadline-driven environment Strong organizational and technical skills Team player with ability to work well with a strong team of professional and highly intelligent personnel.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with engineering team to evaluate future sites
Test system components from various vendors
Assemble RF systems for production.
Modify current production systems to increase capacity and/ or improve system performance.
Perform QA functions on assembled systems before and after they are placed in production.
Trouble-shoot and fix system problems.
Work with engineering to build and evaluate new system designs.
Work with engineering on other projects.
